So I was at work one day and everybody was talking about the Apple Farm. It was supposed to be SO MUCH FUN; apple picking, hay rides, free apple cider, etc. So, on Jason's day off, we got the kids all ready (red shirts for apples... cheesy, I know but I just can't help it!) WE found the address and were on our way. So we found it and were like "hmmm, is this it??" There was a steel building with one little thing of apples for sale in the front. It had a very small apple "orchard" with a few dozen trees. And there was a girl working in the small gift shop. Totally lame. THey had some pumpkins scattered in with some of the apple trees. So, when we discovered that some people are very easily entertained... but not us, we decided to go to wheeler farm instead so that Christian wouldn't be disappointed. Thank goodness we did that. It was set up so cute with scarecrows and stuff. Plus we got to see the baby pigs and get chased by geese. Next time we are definitely skipping the apple farm and going somewhere more trustworthy! Oh, and the red shirts looked dang cute!
