Fake Laugh= Real Laugh

Whenever Christian does his fake laugh in Owen's face, Owen just cracks-up. What sweet boys I have!

Best Babysitters Ever!

Well, A couple of weeks ago Matt came home and today he gave his homecomming talk in church. He has grown into such an amazing man. I think I will still picture him as a 15 year old boy no matter what, but I am so proud at the person he has become. I hope my boys will follow his example and go on missions. (I guess we better start going to church more if we want that!)
Here are the pictures form the day we picked him up at the airport. It was so exciting! We were all a bit nerdy about it. Marge got the cutest tiki shirts for the boys last year, and they looked so cute all matchy. It is weird to think that Matt has never met Ike and Owen.
I made the poster with all of the embarrassing pictures on it... Everyone who walked by would laugh at it. That will be the last time people send pictures of themselves to me!
Christian and Owen love Matt and are excited he is finally home. Welcome home Matt... We love you!

The Pie:

I don't really feel like blogging about my trip to NM (I am still recovering). So, I will get caught up on all of the old stuff.
Last Month, we decided to go to the Pie and take Christian or the best pizza ever and to draw on the walls. We went to the craft store, bought special markers and were off.
We called Kelli and Sean to join us. The very first time I met Kelli was at the pie when I was in HS before going to my very first Green Day concert.... Ahhh... Memories!
Anyway, I actually think Bunky liked the pizza more than drawing on the walls! We had to wake Owen up to get a picture, and he was a bit grumpy. I know, what kind of Mom wakes their kid up to get a picture.... I scrapbook, okay!
It is weird because we have a pie within waking distance from our house, but the one by the U is still the best. I think it is the atmosphere of the old basement and a bit of nostalgia for us "old" people.

Home Sweet Home!

It is SO good to be home. Jenny and I got back from NM visiting Ma and Pa on Saturday. I will blog about it later. It was hard to come home because Jason was gone in Cali. Anyway... who wouldn't want to come home to this?? We missed you Daddy- You are SO SPECIAL!

2 More Days!

Man, I just can't believe that in 2 short days Matt will be home! Matt is Jason's brother who has been on a mission in Hawaii. He did so good there- we are super proud of him. He was made Zone leader, and helped many people in the different areas he was in as well as struggling missionaries.

Over a year ago Marge bought all of the boys Tiki shirts to wear to the airport, it should be fun. (Except Owen either wasn't conceived or known about yet, so he doesn't have one).

Jason has been so excited to play music with him again that he hasn't put down the guitar in a month. All of the little nephews are excited too. Ike is constantly saying "Matt, Matt." and the older ones are always talking about him. My bet is that Christian will be super shy and not know him.

Anyways, here are some of my favorite pictures of Matt. He has cleaned up a lot. He got his tattoos removed and wears longer pants (most of the time). Actually, he got pulled over on the way home from Christian's first Birthday party in that outfit. Funny! We are so excited for Matt to be home! We have missed his great sense of humor, his musical skills, and easygoing attitude. I am sure he has grown in so many ways (He is wider and taller- from all that Polynesian cooking). I hope his awkward missionary phase doesn't last too long!
